Prof. Vinita Krishnakumar Pimpale is an esteemed academician with over 30 years of experience as a teacher. Before becoming the Principal of R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous), Prof. Pimpale held key roles in various areas such as an active member of the NAAC steering committee, Faculty-in-charge of the Post Graduate Programs, NSS Program Officer, Chairperson of the ICC, Examination Controller, Nodal Officer for the Academic Bank of Credits, AICTE Nodal Officer, Head of the Research and Consultancy Development Cell, and Faculty-in-charge of the Student Induction Program, among others.

Dr. Pimpale is a passionate and accomplished researcher with extensive experience in guiding and mentoring scholars in their academic pursuits. As a dedicated research guide, she has successfully supervised five scholars who have completed their PhDs under her expert guidance. She also has to her credit a number of research papers in renowned international and national journals.

Dr. Pimpale’s impact extends beyond Podar College into the wider academic community. She is a member of the Board of Studies (BOS) at several esteemed institutions, including those in Mumbai, Pune, and SNDT University. Her passion for research and innovation has led her to organize national seminars and workshops supported by prestigious bodies such as the UGC, ICSSR, WRIC and NAAC, focusing on key topics in research methodology and quality assurance.
